Hamina allows secure and duty-effective storage through its bonded (duty-free, free zone) warehouses. All matter of transport access to Russia is straight-forward, including railroad as a result of the common rail gauge.
All five properties have the best micro-location in the port
The overall throughput of the HaminaKotka port is 15m tonnes, making it Finland’s largest general cargo and export port. The port has regular traffic to key European ports, including Hamburg, Antwerp, Bremerhaven.
Half of all Finnish-Russian transit traffic is through the port, and 33% of port traffic is transit traffic. Container cargo handled: >630 000 TEU’s.
